TPUSA’s BLEXIT Begins ‘Educate to Liberate’ Road Trip

BLEXIT is happy to announce the start of its Educate to Liberate road trip at Kentucky State University in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Turning Point USA’s BLEXIT initiative is happy to announce the start of its Educate to Liberate road trip!

Our first stop took place on Saturday, September 30 at Kentucky State University (KSU) in Frankfort, Kentucky. While KSU lost against their opponent in the homecoming football game, BLEXIT experienced several wins on campus during the homecoming festivities!

With over 2,800 attendees, Savannah Craven and Blexit Student Movement (BSM) team members Jasmine Woodson, Paulette O’Neal, and Savanna Smith, spent more than 6 hours with students discussing various topics affecting black Americans. Topics included the indoctrination occurring on campuses across the U.S., American history, the hijacking of emotional intelligence, and oppression as opposed to freedom.

“Most black people really want the same thing for our community – to be empowered to create a better country for the next generation,” one attendee said.

While we faced some opposition throughout our interactions, we were encouraged by how many individuals came together with positive attitudes and a willingness to have meaningful discourse on controversial topics.

One attendee shared a sentiment that most of our team members have experienced at one point or another, explaining, “People tend to be in agreement with many [of conservative] values, just apprehensive when it comes to going public about it,” the attendee said.

The next stop on our Educate to Liberate road trip will be on Saturday, October 7 at Alabama State University.

Turning Point USA’s BLEXIT initiative aims to foster a strong conservative presence on campuses nationwide through BLEXIT’s Student Movement Clubs which provide solid communities for students who need to be encouraged to share their beliefs on campus.
