TPUSA Introduces the Dean’s List an All-in-One College Search Engine
Turning Point USA is proud to announce the launch of The Dean’s List, a comprehensive search engine to help young patriots make an educated choice on where to attend college. Utilizing a fine-tuned algorithm designed to analyze each university based on its values and beliefs, the Dean’s List is your all-in-one search engine to find the college or university that is right for you.
College isn’t for everyone, and searching for a school to trust with your education can be overwhelming — that’s where The Dean’s List comes in.
Complete with an interactive map, score cards, and a debt clock, the Dean’s List will help students and parents navigate ambiguous academia language and find trustworthy institutions that will educate, not indoctrinate.
The algorithm encompasses 15 variables and assigns an academic grading scale score based on quantitative and qualitative factors. They are listed in the “Report Card” of each university’s “School Profile” page and include:
- What Will They Lean? Academic Score
- Average Salary of Recent Graduates
- Average Salary of Graduates Mid-Career
- Percent of Graduates with Debt (Federal and Private)
- Average Debt of Graduates (Federal and Private)
- Mandated Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Training for Staff
- Bias Reporting System or Bias Response Team
- Ratio of Right-Leaning Clubs to Left-Leaning Clubs
- Denied Turning Point USA Chapter
- In-State Tuition for Illegal Immigrants
- Amount of Foreign Funding
- Required Equity, Diversity, or Inclusion Courses for Students
- Segregated Dormitories, Graduations, and Classes
- Harassment Policies
- Protests and Canceling Speakers
After academic scores are assigned to each variable, they are consolidated into a final grade (A-F) for each university.
As the Dean’s List team continues to grow, so does our list of universities and variables. We want to provide students and parents with the facts and information needed to determine which institution will be the best choice.
