TPUSA Frontlines Confronts ‘Sex Education Obsessed’ ASU Professor, Cameraman Assaulted

An incident at Arizona State University (ASU) occurred yesterday when a self-described “sex education obsessed” professor assaulted a TPUSA Frontlines cameraman.
David Boyles is a Professor of English Writing at ASU with an area of expertise in “gender studies.” In 2019, Boyles gained recognition for establishing Drag Queen Story Hour-Arizona, a local chapter of the national Drag Queen Story Hour organization.
During his tenure with ASU, Boyles has expressed a number of deeply concerning beliefs regarding gender, sexuality, and the involvement of children in the LGBT movement. The ASU professor has stated that it is a “myth” to say that sexual drag shows are harmful to children. He has also described drag queens as the “leaders” of the LGBT community.
On his now-private Instagram account, Boyles has a long history of posting overtly sexual content, much of which is geared towards children. He has published posts that include gay erotica art, the promotion of gender transition for minors, the promotion of drag shows for children, and condemnations of Christianity.

Furthermore, Boyles maintains a personal Substack platform in which he published pedophilic literature. One series on the platform told the story of a young Christian boy named Isaac who, upon the recommendation of his guidance counselor, is introduced to a “tutor” and her queer friends. The content appeared to depict an indoctrination of the child into the queer world, including his exposure to sexual experiences before his 18th birthday. Boyles has since bleached this series from his Substack.
Because Boyles is a professor at a public university and espouses horrific views on gender and sexuality, TPUSA Frontlines confronted him to ask a few simple questions about his beliefs. Refusing to answer questions from Frontlines Report Kalen D’Almeida, Boyles became aggressive and violent, assaulting and clawing at the Frontlines cameraman. D’Almeida attempted to remove Professor Boyles from the cameraman causing Boyles to fall onto the ground and scrape his face.
Despite his instigation of physical aggression, Boyles described Frontlines reports as “terrorists.”
“Stop coddling these … terrorists,” Boyles wrote. “Call them what they are. … These people should be shunned from society.”
TPUSA Frontlines intends to share the footage of Boyles’ aggression with law enforcement and will support the Frontlines cameraman if he decides to press criminal charges against the ASU professor.
