The Turning Point USA chapter at the University of Alaska Mat-Su reported an incident on campus after members spotted a man in a ski mask posting anti-Charlie Kirk posters that celebrated his death.
One poster displayed the US flag behind an image of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk being shot, along with phrases allegedly used by the suspect in a previous shooting, Tyler Robinson. The poster also spelt Kirk’s name with three K’s and included a TPUSA promotional flier with “go f*** yourself” written over it.
Students immediately reported the posters to campus authorities. According to Rachel Anderson, TPUSA College Field Representative for Western Washington and Alaska, the university responded quickly and identified a potential suspect. Two campus security officers also remained in the room during a TPUSA meeting on Tuesday to ensure students felt safe.
“The chapter remains committed to creating a positive and respectful environment on campus. We’re grateful for the partnership of the university and proud of our students for handling this situation responsibly and professionally,” Anderson said in a post on X, alongside an image of the poster.
The incident is the latest in a series of left-wing agitators posting violent imagery around college campuses. Last month, a TPUSA member highlighted anti-ICE displays at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, including a sticker depicting an ICE agent being shot with the phrase, “the only good fascist is a dead one.”
