This week, Twitter, in its infinite power and wisdom, decided to restrict the sharing of a bombshell story that involved corruption at the highest levels of government. At that moment, Twitter and the rest of its Big Tech cronies decided that it wanted to be a publisher – and should be treated like such in the future.

The Orwellian decision to share the story – reported on and published by the old and respected New York Post – confirmed what conservatives have been saying for years: Twitter/Facebook/Instagram regularly restrict conservatives’ reach and suppress any news that could be potentially damaging to the Left. The decision to suppress the story is much bigger than the story itself.

If you’ve been paying any attention at all, you’ll know exactly what I’m referring to. The fact that Big Tech conspired to “limit the reach” of said story and ended up locking and suspending the accounts of some of the most prominent conservatives in America is the biggest shot fired thus far in the battle between the Right and Big Tech.

As I have said in the past, our founding fathers never intended for Silicon Valley geeks to have this much control over the information disseminated in society. For America to remain, well, America – the place of freedom of speech and open exchange of information – the reach and control of Big Tech needs to be examined and limited.

It is time to break these tech monopolies up. They’re bad for America, bad for free speech, and certainly bad for Conservatives.
