These Two Companies Embraced Leftism, and Are Paying for it Financially
In a totally not shocking twist that absolutely everyone saw coming — Victoria’s Secret seems to be on life support, both culturally and financially. After ditching the iconic VS Angels and hiring American-hating activists, like Megan Rapino and trans people as models, VS has decided to layoff 160 management positions.
The company is planning to fire mangers at their Ohio headquarters in order to save $40 million, assumably because their sales have dropped over a billion dollars in the last quarter, according to the New York Post.
Another infamous chain company seems to be heading in a similar direction: Starbucks has been a fierce defender of left-wing riots, and have even called them “peaceful” in 2021. But now, the coffee chain is closing 16 stores, including some that were unionized, in heavily left-leaning cities like Seattle, Hollywood, Portland, and D.C. due to “safety issues.”
ANTIFA has vandalized and robbed Starbucks locations in Portland more than a dozen times since George Floyd’s death, and violence has only increased following the overturning of Roe.
Drug use is also running rampant in the areas where Starbucks will be closing its doors permanently, but that isn’t so surprising.
Liberal run cities are collapsing, crime is out of control, and large companies are fleeing to conservative areas where they will be more prosperous. Corporations love pandering to cultural — until it breaks the bank, and they will always change course.
