From their 18,000 square foot Montecito, CA mega-mansion worth approximately $14 million, the artist formerly known as Prince . . . Harry and his wife Meghan Markle sat down for a tell-all interview with their billionaire neighbor, Oprah Winfrey. No, their other famous neighbors Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Arianna Grande, and Rob Lowe weren’t there. But Yes, a $4,500 Giorgio Armani dress donned by Meghan Markle herself. Clearly, life is hard for the shunned royals. I’m surprised money wasn’t falling out of their pockets during the two-hour interview… During the interview, Markle released shocking, seemingly unfounded, and uncorroborated allegations of Royal racism. Markle even indicated that their baby, Archie, would not be a prince because of his darker skin. She expanded on that by saying, the Royal Family left him without proper security. Leftists now want to cancel the Royal family. Don’t fall for it. This isn’t about racism. It’s about socialism.
Let’s start with the facts. Archie, who is seventh in line to the throne and turns two in May, is not yet entitled to be a prince due to rules set out more than 100 years ago by King George V. In 1917, King George V, the Queen’s grandfather, issued a written order ruling that only royal offspring who are in the direct line of succession could be made a prince or princess.
As for the issue of security, being a prince or princess does not automatically mean royals have police protection. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s security is no longer paid for by the taxpayer. No one is targeting Archie because of his race; they are acting according to protocol.
For leftists, these facts don’t matter. It is simply about feelings. The left hears an allegation of racism; it is their reflex to shout “RACISM, RACISTS, CANCEL.” Don’t fall for it. Don’t let the left win.
The Royal Family is an institution of tradition. The left wants to cancel any tradition, any history, any past. If they can cancel the past, it is much easier to build their vision of the future. This vision is one of socialism.
