As you know, gas prices have soared in the last two years, and much of the credit goes to this current White House administration.

We all knew this would happen. Do not forget that as a candidate, President Biden said he was going to end fossil fuels, “no more drilling, period.” He then went on to enact policies that would hurt our domestic production of oil, one of which was a moratorium on oil and gas leasing on federal land which went into effect his first week in office. The President has purposely made it harder and more expensive to produce oil in the United States, mostly in the name of “fighting climate change.”

It is clear that President Biden is against the very thing that runs the world: oil. Despite this, the President is now denying the fact he slowed the production of oil because the political consequences.

The President would rather buy oil from other countries and ship it here than advantage of the abundance of resources we have right here at home. Now, President Biden is worried about the political ramifications of his policies. The White House recently called on Saudi Arabia to postpone its decision to reduce oil production and exportation, asking that the country wait one month before making a decision. What happens in the next month? The midterm elections. The President is obviously making this request in an attempt to lower gas prices before the election, but the easier solution would be to increase our domestic supply instead.

The left is constantly changing who they want to blame for rising gas prices. They’ll blame “greedy oil companies,” Vladimir Putin, COVID-19, etc. Leftists are ready to blame everyone and everything for the price of gas, except for the guy who said while running for office he wants to end fossil fuels.

Remember when you guys cheered after Joe Biden promised to end fossil fuels? Why aren’t you cheering anymore? Is it because you are now seeing the economic consequences of those policies?

Fossil fuels run the world. Our president has been ACTIVELY against them before running for president, as a candidate for president, and the day he stepped foot in the Oval Office.

It’s pretty simple. The left has no one to blame but themselves. But they won’t.
