In this week’s edition of “we are literally going through a cultural revolution,” the Left has determined their new target of American culture, history, and tradition: THE ALAMO.

I kid you not. Now, I feel personally insulted by this, considering that I live close to The Alamo site in San Antonio, Texas. Cowboys and the Wild, Wild West are essential aspects of American history and culture, so just like they came for the statues of our founders and American figures such as Abraham Lincoln, we should’ve known the Left would come for the iconic aspects of Wild Western history.

Their first target is the Alamo, but why? White supremacy, of course. How could it be anything else!?

Here’s what the Washington Post said about the situation:

“The Heroic Anglo Narrative is that in 1836, about 200 Texians (as White settlers were known, to distinguish them from Tejanos) fought a doomed battle at a Spanish mission in San Antonio against thousands of Mexican troops, buying Gen. Sam Houston enough time to defeat tyranny in the form of Mexican ruler Santa Anna and win freedom for Texas. The myth leaves much out, most notably that Texians opposed Mexican laws that would free the enslaved workers they needed to farm cotton.”

The fight to reshape the teaching of Texas history in Texas curriculum is leading to a massive fight between the woke activists and conservatives in the state. Senator Ted Cruz, Land Commissioner George P. Bush, and Texas Governor Abbott came down hard on the attempts to tarnish Texan history.

Governor Abbott immediately shut down Leftist attempts to distort history, saying: “Of course Texas schoolchildren should be taught that Alamo defenders were “Heroic.”

Does it surprise you that the Left is trying to cancel The Alamo? Let me know if the comments!
