The CDC Finally Recognizes Individual Choice
The CDC recently released new COVID-19 guidelines focused around “individual decisions” — something a lot of us have been advocating for, for two whole years.
A recent tweet from NPR broke the news and broke down the new guidelines:
- Those exposed to the virus are no longer required to quarantine.
- Unvaccinated people now have the same guidance as vaccinated people.
- Students can stay in class after being exposed to the virus.
- It’s no longer recommended to screen those without symptoms.
At least 200,000 small businesses closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Over 24,000 healthcare workers have lost their jobs due to vaccine requirements.
60,000+ Army soldiers have lost pay, benefits, or have received reprimands due to their refusal to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
“To date, though the services have received tens of thousands of requests, the Air Force has only approved nine, the Marine Corps has approved three and the Army has approved one.”
Children were kept out of in-person learning for two years, imparting their cognitive ability and maturation in ways that have not even begun to come to full fruition.
A single church acquired $2.8 million in fines for simply remaining open in California during 2020, while small businesses, grocers, salons were forcibly closed, Walmarts remained open in the state.
Will any of these people be receiving backpay and reparations for the actual damages caused to their lives and their families? Doubtful. The establishment realized that the narrative was no longer working for them, so they finally abandoned it, without regard for those who fought for “individual decisions” all along.
The important thing to remember is: this was a power-grab experiment for the left, and I doubt it will be their only attempt ever. Freedom-loving Americans need to remain aware, because we cannot afford another nationwide shut-down that will cause millions to lose their livelihoods again.
