Imagine a high school English teacher making the following statement to a classroom of teenagers:
“Can we say whites have power over blacks, please? Okay, thanks. And we don’t even have to pretend that it was during slavery times.”
Imagine the teacher proceeding to explain to her students that “the critical theories unit is where this s**t gets real.”
Imagine that this same teacher has a history of telling her students that it’s better to raise children gender-less and using TikTok videos for “feminist readings” is beneficial to the English curriculum her students are learning.
This teacher is Heidi Bardenhagen of Woodlands High School in Woodlands, Texas. Thankfully, not all of Heidi’s students are falling for her racist antics. One student bravely recorded her rant. You can listen to that here:
Konnor Earnest, a senior and Chapter President of the Turning Point USA chapter at Woodlands High school, was in Heidi Bardenhagen’s class during his junior year of high school.
“Ms. Bardenhagen talks about this stuff all the time. I was in her class last year as a junior. She talked about ‘how the world is filled with racism,’ and explained to us that she was teaching to us Feminist Theory, Queer Theory, Marxism, and post-colonial theory, so that her students would know how to look at the world from these different perspectives. I have a problem [with looking] at the world by class. I don’t believe in discrimination based on any of those factors,” Konnor said.
Konnor said that it took him a year and a half to get permission from the administration to begin the Turning Point USA Chapter at Woodlands because there were concerns that it is a political organization. What’s interesting, though, is that Woodlands happily allows a Gay-Straight Alliance, a Black Lives Matter chapter, a Muslim Student Association, and a Women’s Gender Equality Club.
This is yet another example of the spreading disease of leftist indoctrination within our schools. It’s an attack on values, conservatism, and the American way of life. Heidi Bardenhagen should be reprimanded for brainwashing her students with radical nonsense, and parents with students at Woodlands High School should be attending their school district’s school board meetings to fight back against the atrocious discrimination against conservative ideals.
