Last week, a group of “gun-rights activists” in Austin, Texas, held what was billed as a 2nd Amendment “unity rally.” But in reality, the event turned out to be nothing more than an armed virtue-signaling rally for reparations, the elimination of no-knock raids, arming up against white supremacy, and pushing for a Black Nationalist-inspired “hate crime” bill.
Most of the egregious demands listed above are already openly embraced by Soros-backed DA offices around the nation. In addition, they are also supported by President Biden’s Attorney General, Merrick Garland, known for making the ridiculous claim that white supremacy “Is the biggest threat facing the nation.”
In Garland’s mind, the greatest threat facing our nation is not the skyrocketing urban crime hammering American cities, it’s not the open assaults on innocent bystanders using public transit that repeatedly go viral on Twitter, nor is the greatest threat to the nation the record number of fentanyl overdoses occurring daily. It’s “white supremacy.”
Many pro-2A enthusiasts and right-wing accounts praised the rally, perhaps unaware of the leftwing overtones. Of course, gun rights are important, but freedom-loving conservatives should be wary of aligning themselves with groups who also seek to have more criminals roaming the streets and further divide us by race simply because they likewise describe themselves as “pro-2A.”
