In a new article entitled, “Climate Anxiety and High School: How Young People Are Coping,” Teen Vogue paints a picture of a miserable generation–one plagued by the growing anxiety of an uncertain climate.

The editorial staff writes, “For teens everywhere, this is the reality as they come of age during a time of climate crisis. In a recent 10-country survey of 10,000 young people ages 16 to 25 published in The Lancet, 45% of respondents said their feelings about climate change had ‘negatively affected their daily life and functioning.'”

According to the piece, one student interviewed was terrified to attend college in New Orleans, because she didn’t want to confront a “Katrina-esque situation” should it happen again.

The piece interviewed more than a dozen teenagers about their growing “climate anxiety” and how today is a “scary time to be a young person.”

Do you think this is the new form of climate alarmism, or are teenagers actually justified in their anxious tendencies over the environment?
