These late night shows used to be funny, but now they’re just pure propaganda for the Left, and they aren’t hiding it. When mentioning the issue with Afghanistan, Colbert says, “Why should our soldiers be fighting radicals in Afghanistan when we have our own on Capitol Hill?” What frustrates me about all of this is that he’s trying to equate the rioters on January 6th to a group of people who openly rapes and murders people…is despicable.
By no means am I condoning what happened on Capitol Hill…but to even draw a comparison is where I’m drawing the line. This is a prime reason why our nation is so divided in these times. It’s hard to take these late night hosts seriously when they don’t even realize the damage they are doing in their monologues. They’re too focused on getting the clicks to actually sit down and review what kind of nonsense they’re putting out.
Not only do they try to draw blind comparisons…time and time again, but they’re also blind to the issues that are happening in our own backyards! Now all of a sudden, you want to be so concerned with terrorism in our country? Yet the summer of 2020, one of the worst in recent times pertaining to mass protest with damages exceeding $1B, you were quiet? That’s right, let’s blast the fringe right all day long but not say a word when the fringe left is causing havoc in our nation. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, we need to bring back real journalism. If you’re going to report on something, report all sides of it.
