Social Injustice: Is Crime Preventable in Our Communities?

Do you live in a place where crime rates are consistently rising, the homeless population is growing, police are vilified, and seemingly no one is safe?  If so, you’re probably living in a leftist-run city like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, etc.  We have all been privy to media reports and viral internet videos of crime sprees where hordes of degenerates ransack gas stations, department stores, and other retail establishments.  In a matter of minutes, someone’s life work & legacy is destroyed after spending years (if not decades) building up their business.

It is terrifying, disheartening, and unlawful, but it is excused as “normal.” They excuse this behavior by saying, “poor, marginalized minorities are dealing with an unfair system designed to oppress them.”  Also, of course, more notably is the even more ridiculous reasoning that, due to the history of slavery in America, descendants must act out in such fashion.

Yes, it makes PERFECT sense — to the uneducated, non-critically thinking sap who exhibits the soft bigotry of low expectations, or to such a person who is looking to be excused for such atrocious behavior.

Did you know that almost every single race in the world has suffered slavery? Pirates would ravage European cities and enslave their captives and African tribes would fight each other and enslave their prisoners as well. This same fact rings true with Native Americans, Asians, Romans, Grecians, etc. If slavery is the excuse for degenerate living, why don’t we use it for every race, color, and creed of criminals in this world? Because claiming victimhood does not exempt you from facing punishment for crimes in a just society.

America has unfortunately forgotten the concept “…with liberty and JUSTICE for ALL” in efforts to adhere to a more progressive way of governance. Instead of the justice system implementing justice, it’s beholden to the idea of “social justice,” which has nothing to do with justice at all, and in fact is the antithesis of actual justice. Society is crumbling at our feet, it is failing as we speak, and all we care about is taking lessons from the progressive elites on how to be an antiracist, as well as chopping down the once sturdy legs of our once robust, fair, and impartial judicial system.

This cannot be allowed to stand. We need to be more active in our opposition to the woke politics that have pervaded our nation. Police departments should be fully funded, and given the resources necessary to do their jobs.  Citizens need to work in conjunction with police departments to create communal relationships for better interactions between individuals and the police. All of these things need to happen to get back to a system designed for the flourishing of law-abiding citizens.

“Turning Point USA is the fastest-growing youth movement in America, and they have a potential to play a decisive role in shaping our country for decades to come.”
