Rep. Ayanna Pressley (Leftist) went on MSNBC and pushed for the cancellation of student debt.
Her justification for this is “to help “ensure” an “equitable” economic recovery from the effects of the shutdowns amid the coronavirus pandemic.”
This is not a solution for the coronavirus pandemic nor the shutdowns. The left has ALWAYS wanted to cancel student debt. The coronavirus is only their latest excuse to push for it.
What about all of the people who worked their tail off to pay back their loans?
Will the left be paying them back? Answer: NO
What about all the people who chose not to go to school because of the cost-benefit analysis they did for themselves?
Will the left be compensating them in some way? Answer: NO
There are millions of people who made logical decisions for themselves concerning college.
The only people who the left wants to help are those who make stupid decisions—for example, choosing to go to a $100,000.00 a year school and choosing a major in a field that only makes you $20,000.00 a year, before taxes.
If they’re going to do anything with education, why don’t they go after the actual astronomical price of SCHOOL ITSELF? – They won’t. Now, ask yourself why.
