The Nassau County School District Board of Education claimed I was “out of order” for reading before them a porn-filled book that is available to students.
The book I read from is Boy Toy, which depicts the molestation of a student by a teacher, and their relationship. This book is currently on shelves at Yulee High School.
I read a passage from “Boy Toy” depicting an explicit flirtatious scene between the student and the teacher, who end up “hurdling into an unprecedented make-out session.”
Sadly, this theme isn’t only fictional: it speaks to an issue taking place in schools around the country.
There are news stories that seem to come out weekly in which a teacher or school administrator is found to have engaged in a sexual relationship with a minor student. Just this Wednesday, a counselor at an Ohio school was found guilty of two counts of sexual battery after having sex with a 17-year-old student.
I asked Board Chairman Gail Cook if “Boy Toy” is pornographic. She then asked me, as a matter of protocol, to sit down, but she and her colleagues will allow kids to read this book and let it stay on shelves!
As a police officer came to the podium where I was standing at, I told the board that any meeting protocol goes out the window when you pervert the hearts and minds of kids. This is disgusting, corrupt, and unjust for the students.
They had the nerve to question me as “out of order,” when their actions in letting books like this be accessible to vulnerable and highly impressionable students are what’s out of order in the first place.
Turning Point USA would like to thank Dr. Bob for his contributions, which allowed Pastor John Amanchukwu to pursue stories that shed light on corruption within the public education system.
Thank you, Dr. Bob!
