Rutgers University has reversed its stance on vaccination, now requiring its students to receive the vaccination to participate in the fall 2021 semester.

This stance is far different from their original statement on vaccine requirements publicized back in January. The Rutgers administration initially claimed they would encourage but not require vaccinations from students.

As of April 2021, the Rutgers administration has a new message: proof of vaccination will be required if you want to enroll in the fall semester. They are also encouraging all staff to seek vaccination.

Apparently Rutgers is the first major college in America to roll out this requirement, and cited President Biden’s claim that by this summer, all American adults should have access to at least one shot of the vaccine.

I’ll tell you what I would do if I was a student at Rutgers… I would not go back to that school in the fall semester.

What would you do?
