The “W” in WCU must stand for ‘woke’ because Western Carolina University has gone full-blown leftist on its campus!

Resident assistants, commonly referred to as RAs, must complete racial and gender sensitivity training to live on campus and remain employed. These classes are intended to teach students to avoid certain phrases that could potentially be deemed ‘offensive.’ So pretty much anything and everything these days!

A slide obtained by Fox News from the presentation warns students who use the phrase, “I don’t see color,” that they are guilty of denying someone’s “racial experience.”

Another example phrase not allowed from students’ mouths is, “There is only one race, the human race.” According to WCU, this is equal to someone saying, “racial problems are caused by minorities.”

But wait, it gets better! In another training course titled “Rainbow 101,” a picture of a “gender unicorn” details the various “gender identities” and “gender expressions.” A video called “Human Sexuality is Complicated” further explains their insane ideology.

One RA told FOX News how the presenter explained that ‘sex and gender’ do not involve genitals. The RA went on to say, “The Rainbow 101 class goes against my beliefs, but I have to be in that class, or I could possibly be fired. I’m not allowed to speak against that.”

Western Carolina University has also created “support spaces” to segregate the RAs based on skin color. One “support space” is for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), while the other “support space” is titled “general.” So anyone is welcomed in the first group unless you’re white, then you just fall under general. I’m not sure WCU understands the message they are advocating for here.

This is not WCU’s first time making headlines for their woke nonsense. Fox News reported in April that the housing coordinator on campus determined that students cannot use the words “Christmas” or “Easter” as they do not align with the university’s inclusion goals.

Come on, Western Carolina! Stop pushing these woke ideas that only create more of a divide on your campus. The students are fed up with it, and the donors should be too!
