Turning Point USA has made headlines after NBC reported on the company’s recent accomplishments.

The report reads:

“Turning Point USA, the conservative organization that parlayed culture war activism on college campuses into a major influence in U.S. politics, enjoyed a financial windfall during the pandemic, according to newly filed tax records.”

Operating as a non-profit organization, Turning Point USA relies solely on the generous donations of courageous individuals and families. Since its founding in 2012, TPUSA has been fortunate enough to gain the support of many donors who have the desire to mold culture for future generations.

Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, TPUSA continued to thrive. While other conservative nonprofits struggled financially, TPUSA donations increased and our fundraising efforts proved to be a massive success.

TPUSA’s support during the pandemic was largely due to the bold activism of students who fought COVID-19 restrictions on their campuses around the country. The authoritarian pandemic restrictions mobilized young conservatives to stand up for the values we consistently advocate for: individual liberty and limited government.

Andrew Kolvet, a spokesperson for TPUSA, spoke with NBC News about the organization’s strategy during the pandemic:

“Turning Point USA chose to invest and push forward while much of the rest of the country locked down and businesses shuttered. The organization was rewarded for seeing the moment for what it was, an opportunity to double down on its mission, advocating for opening America back up, and for medical and bodily autonomy, especially for students.”

As expected, the NBC article does its fair share of intentionally misrepresenting TPUSA’s core values; mainstream media is intimidated by this organization’s success and far-reaching impact.

With chapters on over 3,000 high school and college campuses, the professor watchlist program which exposes radical educators, the most energizing and collaborative events in the conservative movement, along with the numerous additional programs this company has to offer, TPUSA is a dynamic powerhouse that teaches individuals to be proud of their conservative beliefs, and to be proud of this country.
