It seems like Americans are FINALLY getting over the COVID hysteria that has plagued our country and destroyed our economy over the past two years!

According to a recent Axios poll, only 9% of Americans think COVID is “a serious crisis.” And wait, there’s even more:

  • Just half of respondents now support schools requiring students, teachers and administrators to wear masks, down from seven in 10 at the start of the school year.
  • The number of respondents who said their employers are requiring them to wear masks dropped by nearly half over the past month, from 39% to 22%.
  • 37% of respondents said they’ve already returned to their normal, pre-COVID lives, a new survey high.

Although most seem to be completely done with the COVID hysteria overall, the numbers are predictably skewed when broken down by political affiliation.

This promising data would indicate that Americans are ready to move on, but with Philadelphia re-instituting its indoor mask mandate, it would appear that power-hungry government officials aren’t quite ready to let COVID restrictions go yet.

Hopefully the left will take a cue from their electorate, who clearly want to get back to work, back to normal, and back to LIFE.
