June 24, 2022 will go down as one of the greatest days in the history of our country.
While most people will never forget where they were when something momentous happens such as 9/11, Pearl Harbor, President Obama or President Trump’s inaugurations. Few people can actually give a first-hand account from the location this historical moment happened. Luckily, I can.
First and foremost, it was tense. In the early morning, pro-life and pro-choice groups were mixed together, protesting their differences side by side. Eventually, police and security separated the two groups. I knew at that point, a decision would be made.
This isn’t like the old days, when a messenger would burst out of the front doors of the court and proclaim some sort of verdict. No, I like millions across the country, was refreshing Twitter (specially the SCOTUS Blog) every few seconds to hear the verdict.
Before I could hit refresh once more, I heard a loud roar erupt from the pro-life side. It was pure joy, elation and 50 years of prayers answered. My words can’t do this moment in time justice, so watch these incredible reactions for yourself:
There were also some horrendous reactions from the abortion advocates, you will have to see to believe:
Regardless of the hatred and anger pouring out from the left, this is a day we’ll never forget. This is a decision that will save countless lives, and it should be celebrated. It was an honor and a privilege to experience such an incredible day in the history of our great nation.
