What are you doing with your life if you haven’t heard of TPUSA’s Professor Watchlist? Professor Watchlist is bringing you the craziest stories from the hearts of America’s college classrooms, and today’s feature professor is no exception.
Meet Tracey Owens Patton from the University of Wyoming (yes, Wyoming. The Cowboys. You thought everyone crazy was isolated to the Ivy’s? Think again).
During a recent interview with Wyoming Public Media, Dr. Patton discussed her opinion that black Americans live in almost identical conditions to the Jim Crow south. She said segregation today may not be a legal issue, but because black Americans tend to live in urban areas while white Americans tend to live in rural areas, saying “it can be within that lived experience of segregation that we sometimes find ourselves in as we are living in segregated communities.”
Dr. Patton further dedicated a chapter in her book to Representative Maxine Waters, who is infamous for telling supporters to physically confront conservatives.
