Professor at Penn State Asks His Class to Explain Why the Taliban is NOT a Terrorist Organization
According to the most recent addition to TPUSA’s Professor Watchlist, a professor at Penn State University teaches that the Taliban is not, and never has been, a terrorist group.
You heard that right! Christopher Cook, a professor at Pennsylvania State University, started off his fall semester “Politics of Terrorism” class with an assignment for students to write an essay with the prompt: “Explain why the Taliban are not Terrorists.” The assignment instructions continued by saying “In one page* explain why the Taliban is have [sic] not and are still not a terrorist organization. You are not allowed to answer this question in any other way. Any attempt to avoid this prompt as written; or trying to argue otherwise will result in a failing grade. If you have any questions on the pedagogy behind this assignment– please contact me.”
Dr. Cook has a lengthy list of tweets and retweets on his personal Twitter account making statements to back up his claim in the class assignment.
The left continues to create chaos by convincing themselves and others that lies are truth and truth are lies. Claiming that one of the most brutal and violent terrorist groups of our time is NOT a terrorist organization, is absolutely unacceptable behavior on a college campus. Dr. Cook is spreading dangerous propaganda in his classroom, and forcing his students to either conform to his agenda or fail.

The left has mastered the ‘war on language,’ which makes them extremely convincing to the majority of students and naive Americans. When you master language and have control of the narrative perpetrated on society, it is easier to change people’s minds and reach them emotionally. This is exactly what Dr. Cook is trying to implement in his classroom and what we continue to see by leftist activists throughout our country.
