Turning Point USA’s Professor Watchlist program is dedicated to exposing the craziest stories from around the country inside America’s college classrooms, and this insane professor is sure to top the list–meet Alexander Reid Ross, a professor of Geography at Portland State University.
Dr. Ross has generated attention on campus lately thanks to his ardent support of ANTIFA, and he often writes favorably on behalf of ANTIFA groups around the country for major publications.
In a 2017 speech, Dr. Ross openly advocated for the radical left to adopt “militant ways” to fight against conservative ideology in America and that antifascists should be prepared to “get their hands dirty.”
Later, in the midst of an interview with the ANTIFA publication “It’s Going Down,” Ross praised the rise of Rose City ANTIFA, the organization that assaulted Andy Ngo in the summer of 2019.
He has further blamed the ANTIFA-led riots in Portland on President Trump supporters and police officers, deeming it “positive behavior” against conservative Americans.
