President Biden has made it a point to push electric vehicles on the American people even though purchasing trends throughout the last decade would show that Americans simply don’t want them.
Now, I’m impartial to EVs. I don’t love them like the sitting President pretends to and I don’t hate them like I’d imagine most other Jobobs would. But there is something interesting going on that would lead me to believe that President Biden’s fascination with electric cars, while a major point with lefty voters, is mostly a scam.
Throughout his first year in office, President Biden has made it a point to tour EV manufacturing plants. Last May he was at Ford:
In November, he drove an electric vroom vroom from GM.
On the campaign trail, he said, “I can’t wait to get us behind that all-electric Corvette that goes 210 mph.” President Biden expressed his excitement for the new electric Chevrolet Corvet, hinting at the fact that the new car was being created.
I’d mentioned earlier that purchasing trends show Americans just aren’t that interested in any of the cars that President Biden has been so fond of over the last year. But have you noticed something missing?
Oh yeah… The President has yet to visit, test drive, or even mention the most valuable car company on the planet.
Tesla.
That’s weird. If the President and his lefty comrades are so keen on EVs, why does it seem like they’re avoiding the only EV manufacturer that has made any significant dent in American’s apathy towards electric vehicles? Could it be that these massive government subsidies for EVs aren’t about saving the environment after all? Because if they were, Elon Musk would have a seat at the table.
But there’s one thing all of President Biden’s favorite auto manufacturers have in common that Tesla doesn’t have.
Unions.
OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH… Those massive federal government checks and tax credits to bolster the EVs market aren’t because President Biden cares about the environment… No, they’re to buy union votes.
💡 *Light bulb*
IF the administration really cared solely about EVs, they’d invite Elon and Tesla to their swanky functions. But since they continue to leave out the only EV company that matters, it’s clear it’s not about the EVs at all.
