Sometimes when I feel like ruining my day I’ll scroll through CNN’s web page, which does the trick every time. Today I did so and unfortunately, I found an article that I actually enjoyed. The headline read, “[President] Joe Biden’s Numbers are Collapsing Among a Group you Really Wouldn’t Expect.”
Obviously, this piqued my curiosity so I clicked. According to CNN’s editor Chis Cillizza, President Biden’s approval ratings have tanked among Gen Z and even wider millennial groups. Poll data shows that only 21% of people between 18 and 34 said they approved of the way President Biden has been handling his job while 58% said they flat out disapproved.
Why are these numbers so low?
If you spend any time with real and everyday American people, you’ll know that gas prices, the housing market, food supplies, and other dinner-table issues are on the forefront of everyone’s mind. I pray that our elected leaders start acting with logic rather than emotion, and begin solving issues that impact us today.
Wishful thinking, I know, but hey, a boy can dream!
