Popular Athletic Brands Issued Warning for High Levels of BPA, Toxins in Clothing

Thanks to the COVID-19 propaganda fiasco, there’s been a rise of distrust when it comes to the American people’s faith in the FDA and major corporations — for good reason.
The past two years shed light on the shady practices of Big Pharma, healthcare corruption, and the harmful ingredients present in our everyday products. The FDA has allowed carcinogenic and endocrine disrupting chemicals to be added to our food, over-the-counter medications, beauty products, household cleaners, and even our clothing.
“Endocrine disruptors are natural or man-made chemicals that may mimic or interfere with the body’s hormones, known as the endocrine system.”
“Chemical Carcinogens are compounds which can cause cancer in humans and experimental animals.”

New studies conducted by the Center for Environmental Health (CEH) found alarming levels of Bisphenol A (more widely known as BPA) in exercise clothing. CHE has released legal notices to major global sporting brands explaining the dangers present. BPA is a chemical that synthetically mimics estrogen, a naturally occurring hormone which plays a significant role in female development.
An imbalance of hormones like estrogen can have serious consequences on a body, especially on developing children, but can also lead to reproductive challenges, weight issues, diabetes, mental disorders, and other significant health affects. (This of course, is yet another reason healthcare providers are ignoring basic scientific facts when prescribing puberty blockers and supplemental, non-naturally occurring hormones to young, gender dysphoric children during the most crucial stage in their development.)
“Studies have shown that BPA can be absorbed through skin and end up in the bloodstream after handling receipt paper for seconds or a few minutes at a time. Sports bras and athletic shirts are worn for hours at a time, and you are meant to sweat in them, so it is concerning to be finding such high levels of BPA in our clothing.”
Kaya Allan Sugarman — Director of Illegal Toxic Threats Program at CEH
CEH specifically called out, and sent these legal notices, to Athleta, PINK (from Victoria’s Secret), Asics, Nike, The North Face, Brooks, All in Motion, and FILA regarding the dangerous chemical levels in their athletic clothing.
