As a resident of Philadelphia for over 20 years, I am empty and devastated. The death of Walter Wallace, Jr. is sad. The reactionary acts of looting, rioting, and violence surrounding this death are unacceptable.
In one news video, a man was seen stealing a dishwasher. Yes, in plain sight, just wheeling it down the street on a dolly!
Stealing from your neighbors does not effectuate social change. Breaking the law does not save lives.
This madness must stop. Be part of the solution, not the problem.
