In a shocking piece published by The Free Press last week, former pediatric transgender clinic employee Jamie Reed shared her intimate experiences working at The Washington University Transgender Center at St. Louis Hospital.

Her stunning testimony confirms the suspicions of many conservatives who have been sounding the alarms: children and adolescents across America are being lied to, taken advantage of and used for profit in the name of “progress.”

Now married to a “trans-man” and identifying as queer herself, Reed raises unique concerns about the next generation in America overwhelmingly affected by what she calls the next social contagion. Reed shares why she left her position at the clinic in November, after four years of working as a case manager.

“I left the clinic in November of last year because I could no longer participate in what was happening there. By the time I departed, I was certain that the way the American medical system is treating these patients is the opposite of the promise we make to ‘do no harm.’ Instead, we are permanently harming the vulnerable patients in our care.”

Reed’s testimony is heart wrenching, depicting her personal experiences with minors who were, in her words, “hurt” by the clinic under the guise of affirmation. A small number of the stories she shared are listed below.

A 17-year-old girl who experienced excessive bleeding after her vaginal canal ripped open during heterosexual intercourse — a side effect of testosterone thinning vaginal tissue.

Some girls experienced a shocking enlargement of their clitoris, to the point their clothing became uncomfortable to wear every day.

A 17-year-old boy with a history of mental illnesses, including the sexual abuse of animals, referred to the gender clinic because a gender transition would solve his problems — only to find out animal abuse continued.

An 11-year-old girl who’s mother demanded she be put on puberty blockers, while her father disagreed. She initially called the clinic requesting a consultation, though her daughter did not outright express a desire to transition, the mother called her a “tomboy.” The clinic turned her away, stating that the girl needed to say that she wished to transition. A year later, the mother called back insisting that her daughter was now expressing a desire to transition, the clinic saw her for a consultation. The court eventually ruled in favor of the mother, effectively destroying any parental role of the father in this case.

A teenage girl from an unstable family went “all in,” as Reed describes, undergoing a double mastectomy at 18 years old, only to call back three months later. The girl told the nurse, ” I want my breasts back.” Clinic staff was forced to heartbreakingly explain that it simply doesn’t work that way.

Reed described the process of transitioning for children and adolescents as speedy and effectively nonexistent. According to her experience as an employee, all it took for children to be prescribed hormones or even get scheduled for surgery was one or two conversations with a gender-affirming therapist. After a single conversation, these “medical professionals” encouraged children, many of whom were autistic or were diagnosed with other mental disorders, into irreversible physiological decisions they couldn’t quite understand the permanence of. In many cases, the clinic would pre-draft form letters for the therapists, who simply had to sign on the dotted line.

If any employee felt uncomfortable by this process, they were told to “get on board, or get out,” taking away their paycheck, livelihood, and financial stability.

The horrifying reality of this shocking piece is not contained to the four walls of The Washington University Transgender Center at St. Louis Hospital. There are more than 100 pediatric transgender clinics across the country, fundamentally aimed at targeting children and adolescents with the newest social contagion plaguing America’s youth.

“In the past 15 years, according to Reuters, the U.S. has gone from having no pediatric gender clinics to more than 100. A thorough analysis should be undertaken to find out what has been done to their patients and why—and what the long-term consequences are.”

Gender affirming care operates on the notion that children are sexual from birth, a concept first derived from pedophiles parading as scientists like John Money and Alfred Kinsey, and that children have the agency and ability to consent. There is only one endpoint when this logic is followed. Puberty blockers lock children in a perpetual state of adolescence, and only one type of adult could benefit from such a horrific concept. But make sure not to call them “groomers.”

Hope does not have to be lost, however — several nations have examined and analyzed their own gender clinic practices and curbed pediatric facilities from operating almost or nearly entirely. Sweden and Finland lead the charge, and even the United Kingdom announced they’d be shutting down the NHS’ only pediatric transgender clinic following a number of lawsuits.
