NYC Descends Into Violent Leftist Insanity
Forty people were shot, and five were killed since last Friday in New York City, cementing this once great metropolitan mecca’s descent into violent leftist insanity. I lived in NYC for 12 years before fleeing to Florida after two months of the COVID lockdowns, and New York City has been trending towards becoming a socialist nightmare for quite some time.
As we see regularly, protests and disrespect for police officers and law and order are becoming the norm in NYC, and this amount of violence is what happens when it does.
These incidents primarily happened in lower-income areas of Brooklyn and The Bronx, where leftists scream the loudest to “defund the police.” These cries sound great on cable news sets and Twitter, but – as we’re seeing – only serve to hurt citizens already living in crime-ridden neighborhoods the most.
There is very little that can save New York City at this point, aside from a complete rejection of leftism, but what can protect these communities is a healthy respect for law and order, more fathers in the home, and less government reliance.
But then again, what do I know? I’m a conservative.
