A top California health official has recently stated there is still a missing link between schools reopening and an expected COVID-19 outbreak among children.
In fact, in many California counties where COVID-19 numbers are low have been attending school in person for a few weeks while following social distancing regulations. Despite the return to in-person learning, there has been no spike in COVID-19 numbers among these students.
Today, only 32 of the 58 counties are holding in-person learning in schools in California. With no relationship between in-person learning and COVID-19 numbers, it’s clear it’s time to reopen all California schools!
