1. There’s a problem with conservatives when we waste our time asking, “Is he going to gaslight us in his upcoming speech?” The answer is, yes. That’s no longer a question. We know how these people operate, so instead of asking the empty question of “will he?” we must ask, “we know they will lie, now what are we going to do to stop them or prevent their lies from successfully tricking Americans?”
  2. I think it makes us look bad when we make videos go viral every time President Biden stutters or every time someone does something slightly weird. Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi tripping a bit when she stood up? Not a good look for us to make that some viral funny video. There are more important things to be doing.
  3. As frustrating as it is to see the health hazards our military members face during and after service go completely ignored or shoved under a rug, I was still happy to see the issue of burn pits be brought up with such a large national audience. Do I think he brought it up to discuss veterans while still being able to ignore the failures of Afghanistan? Yes. But I’m still going to remain grateful for the sheer fact that the issue was given recognition at all. (Shoutout to HunterSeven Foundation for their great work!)
  4. The defund the police/fund the police statement… wow. Surprising to hear them actually pull toward the middle, but do not get tricked. They don’t actually care about funding the police now, they are just trying to win back the support they lost over the last few years.
  5. His attacks on President Trump’s tax reform were baseless and wrong.
  6. He really told us with a straight face we are going to start building more in America, while also increasing taxes on businesses, and asking them to lower costs and increase employee wages. Clown world economics.
  7. I almost forgot people still act like the Second Amendment is about hunting deer. It’s not.
