‘My Gang is Bigger Than Yours’: Future Border Czar Tom Homan Issues Warning to TdA, MS-13 at AmFest 2024

By: Hayden Cunningham

Former acting director of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Tom Homan spoke on the final day of AmFest 2024 where he addressed the ongoing immigration crisis that the country has faced over the past few years.

Homan, who was recently selected to be the “border czar” under the incoming administration and will lead the efforts to implement immigration reform, outlined the severe challenges posed by the current border situation and pledged swift action to restore order. He highlighted alarming statistics, including a 600 percent increase in sex trafficking, over 300 known apprehensions of suspected terrorists, and more than 2 million “gotaways.” He also underscored the deadly consequences of drug trafficking, particularly the influx of fentanyl into the United States.

Referring to the state of the border as “the biggest national security vulnerability this world has ever seen,” Homan painted a grim picture of the humanitarian and security crisis unfolding and the need for reform.

“People die on the border every day. Women are sex trafficked in this country every day. That’s why I’m pissed off,” he explained. “A secure border saves lives.”

Homan pledged to prioritize the deportation of criminal illegal immigrants and take aggressive action against violent gangs composed of foreign nationals. He issued a stark warning to gangs such as Tren de Agua and MS-13, vowing to target them as public safety threats.

“Tren de Argua, your days are numbered. My gang is better than your gang,” Homan declared. “You’re number one on the list. MS-13, you’re right behind them.”

Homan pivoted his warnings to sanctuary cities and local political officials who refuse to work with federal immigration authorities. He accused these leaders of failing to protect their communities, singling out Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson who has publicly stated Homan is unwelcome in the city.

Blasting the city’s use of taxpayer funds to support illegal immigrants, Homan claimed that Chicago residents are being “robbed” everyday by local officials who refuse to deport criminal illegal immigrants.

“You don’t want to protect your communities, shame on you,” Homan said. “We’re going to do it for you.”

“We will not let you prevent us from saving the American communities from illegal alien crime,” he added.

Homan has long been outspoken about prioritizing the removal of illegal immigrants who commit crimes. His comments come as a recent ICE report revealed that over 420,000 convicted criminal illegal immigrants remain at large in the United States.
