Pastors, ministry, and faith leaders from around the U.S. gathered for Turning Point USA Faith’s Pastors Summit in San Diego, California last week to encourage church leadership to stand for God’s truth in a culture that places a high value on subjective truth.
This was my first time attending TPUSA’s Pastors Summit and I was blown away by Turning Point USA’s Faith and Events teams who made this an enjoyable, edifying, and encouraging experience.
I had the privilege of interviewing the lead singer of the band Skillet, John Cooper, and speaking to him about the importance of faith in his own walk. He shared his message of encouragement to young creatives and individuals in today’s modern culture.
Following my phenomenal conversation with John Cooper, I was able to interview someone I truly respect and admire for their boldness in Christ, Eric Metaxas. This is someone who is a renowned author, published several exceptional books, including his most recent, “Letter to the American Church.”
Speakers like Pastor Rob McCoy, Charlie Kirk, John Amanchukwu, Pastor David Engelhardt, Brandon Tatum, Victor Marx, Joshua Broome, and many more encouraged the audience of churchgoers and leaders to constantly and unwaveringly pursue Godly morality and to pray for the good of the nation around us.
Throughout the entire conference, Pastors equipped the audience with tools, instructions, and inspiration to put into use daily. I joined several other Turning Point USA ambassadors on stage to discuss the impact that this next generation will be able to have in their churches, communities, and the country by using their platforms and influence for God’s glory.
Jeremiah 29:7 “Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
