In multiple states around the country, conservatives have flipped liberal school boards in favor of parental rights in education. Counties in Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina, have all recently seen an increase in conservative membership. This is largely because of national outrage directed at school board members who sat idly by while testing scores plummeted while kids were kept home for two years due to COVID-19.
Liberal news has for years tried to push the narrative that the education of future generations is entirely “nonpartisan,” which sounds great in theory, except for the fact that it is impossible. Specific sets of values will be passed on, it is up to parents to determine what values those are.
Liberal school administrations and boards played a significant role in mask mandates for students, even going so far as to forcibly remove young students from schools who wouldn’t comply. In most states, district and county school boards determined when public schools would reopen post-pandemic, many choosing to remain closed for in-person learning much longer than parents thought necessary. This contributed to lower grades on average for all ages, and lower testing scores nationwide.
For years, left-wing activists have quietly taken over school administrations and boards to implement their agenda. This is why schools have allowed teachers to facilitate explicitly inappropriate discussions with students, and have allowed students to identify with another gender that does not match their biological sex — often hiding this information from parents. Parents feel disenfranchised, cut out of the conversation entirely.
This is what sparked the “parent’s movement” which has gained traction across the nation. Parents have stepped up to the plate to protect their kids from the dangerous and harmful ideologies being presented to them in public schools.
Unfortunately, not every school district has been changed for the better. Specifically, Dryden Community School Board in Michigan has appointed their youngest member, a 23-year old man by the name of Carl Austin Miller Grondin. Libs of TikTok reported, “Grondin describes himself as ‘chaotic evil’ and ‘unhinged’ while posting pictures and videos filled with, offensive language and sexually inappropriate attire.” This member was apparently voted in by the board, to serve on the board of trustees for two years, without any say from the community, or any public election.
Grondin has promoted calling “minor inconveniences” “homophobic” in multiple videos and replies to comments, which sets a fantastic example for Michigan children, of course. In one of his many concerning TikTok videos,
“Let this sink in, the Dryden Community School Board appointed a self-proclaimed mentally-ill individual without any input from the parents in the school district!”

The main reason districts attempt to hide the fact that, when possible, they elect radical activists to have direct oversight on how children are educated, is because they know parents within the community would not approve of this blatant indoctrination.
Transparency is necessary in education, for years, public schools have asked for parent’s blind trust, without deserving it whatsoever.
