If you only watch the mainstream media, you probably didn’t see the 2,000 plus young Black and Latino Americans who marched in Washington, DC, supporting law enforcement over the weekend; that is by design.
The leftist narrative that MSM pushes is that all police officers are racist whites and that all Black Americans live in fear of them at all times – that we’re afraid of – in the words of Lebron James – being “hunted” by police.
This is to push the “defund the police” agenda that will eventually shift
the most dangerous cities into absolute lawlessness – hurting the very people the Left claims they’re trying to protect.
The thousands of Black and Latino Americans who took to the streets of our nation’s capital to support law enforcement officers (many of whom are ALSO Black and Latino) – shatter that stereotype. Those of us that DO support police know that it is a challenging, dangerous, and thankless job. Yes, there are some bad apples, and some policing aspects in America need reform – but demonizing the police isn’t the way to go about it.
Those brave young Americans of all colors who marched in DC in support of our police officers deserve respect and praise for shattering one of the most dangerous liberal agendas – to eliminate law enforcement in the name of social justice.
What do you think? Is the “defund the police” movement really about reform, or is there something more nefarious at play here?
