Mother’s Day is fast approaching! Here are some of my favorite little 2A gifts that are better than flowers!
#1 – Firearms Training Class
Maybe mom has been on the fence about shooting, or she’s nervous and keeps putting it off. People forget that the shooting sport can just be that, A SPORT! Find a local training group or range in your area and see what they offer for family or all women’s training. Some classes start as low as $30/person and provide a fun experience to do as a family or just her and her friends.
#2 – UpLula Speed Loader
If your mom doesn’t have the UpLula speed loader, order it. Right now. Best $40 you’ll ever spend and mom will thank you. These can’t be found very easily online, but you can find them here.
This is the ONLY speed loader I recommend for handguns! It comes in different colors and works for 9mm-45acp (I can also make it work for .380). Makes loading mags SO much easier.
#3 – Eye and Ear Protection
Eyes – Make sure the sides are thin so it doesn’t press against her ears. These ones by Peltor are my favorite! Less than $20 on Amazon.
Ears – You can go basic or boujee!
These earplugs are only $10, cute, and provide a 38NRR if put in correctly (indoor ranges require a 28NRR or better).
Walker’s Slim Passive Earmuffs – $30
These come in fun colors too! Make sure you get slim ones, bulky isn’t cute.
These babies provide HD sound on the range so you can hear people talk, but cancels out gun shots with their .02 second reaction time noise cancellation.
Pro Tip: For indoor ranges, I use the foamies, put electronics over, and control my volume with the electronics. I swear this saves my ears from ringing after indoor range time, and I can still carry a conversation without saying “What!?” every 5 seconds.
#4 – 2A Gear
