Following the controversial letter sent by the National School Board Association to the White House calling parents “domestic terrorists” for protesting at local school board meetings, more than half of U.S. state school boards are pushing back.
Seventeen state school boards have formally announced their withdrawal from the national organization, and an additional ten have issued statements that disagree with the letter sent to the White House.
On October 22, the National School Board Association apologized for the letter, claiming there was “no justification for some of the language included in the letter.”
Seems to me that calling concerned parents “domestic terrorists” for speaking up in defense of their kids’ education doesn’t bode well, huh NSBA? I have loved seeing parents speak up and get involved in their local educational communities this year, especially when it comes to the physical safety of innocent children with INSANE “gender-inclusive” bathroom policies, and I hope this grassroots activism continues into 2022 and beyond!
The more parents and students learn about the outrageous Leftist policies pushed in the classroom, the more pressure individual school boards will feel to withdraw from woke organizations like the NSBA.
