Loyola Academy Pushes Leftist Agenda While Denying TPUSA Presence on Campus
School administrations nationwide have been frequently attacking TPUSA chapters–preventing our students from receiving official recognition on campus, targeting conservative students with unfair treatment, and even banishing conservative groups like TPUSA from the school altogether.
Most recently, Loyola Prep Academy has repeatedly denied students the opportunity to formally start at a Turning Point USA chapter on campus. The university’s student activities officer claims TPUSA is a “racist and anti-Semitic” organization while refusing to even speak to TPUSA field staff members.
Even our field staff has been prohibited from attending Zoom meetings with Loyola students while they presented the club proposal to the school, and the activities officer has since refused to return any phone calls from TPUSA staff.
This behavior from Loyola staff is hardly surprising, given the extremely leftist reputation of the school. Loyola Prep recently made headlines for forcing high schoolers to answer questions in a mandatory assignment about how they have benefitted from “White privilege” and how they “wield this privilege” in their daily lives.
As TPUSA students nationwide remain under attack for their beliefs and association with our organization, we at TPUSA want you to remember–we stand with you, we will fight for recognition on campus right alongside you. We are so proud of you for standing for your values even when things get difficult.
