Life According to Stephen: Segregationism In Academia
Segregationist policies, particularly in the halls of academia, are being repackaged and reintroduced under the guise of “wokeism.” We are quite literally becoming so “woke” in this current culture that we have regressed back to ideologies our esteemed civil rights icons have fought diligently to get away from, ensuring a pathway of EQUALITY for all. It is unimaginable that their work is being undone by this post-modernistic push to upend sensible ways of thinking. This is an effort to redefine and transform once tried and true enlightenment principles, especially regarding race.
As people embark on this quest for more knowledge at the collegiate level, like a sign forewarning the hiker before they embark up a treacherous mountain, I urge these trekkers (more or less those of the ethnic minority) to take heed. Be careful when you come across woke signs of “benevolence” disguised as the soft bigotry of low expectations. These come from a vast array of white liberal professors and those in higher halls of leadership. Such racially-based policies do nothing but derail logical forms of thought through segregationist philosophies they are not accustomed to experiencing, thus are unaware of the ideological danger they are in. Powers in higher education are taking advantage of you! Like the Greek mythological sirens, these liberal predators endeavor to speak the sweetest (albeit detrimental) doctrinal belief systems to their victims, only to have them shipwreck themselves. They aim to strand their victims in the seas of post-modernistic ways of thinking that are, by nature, the very antithesis of modernity, not to mention racial harmony. Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to speak out against such horridly segregated ways of thinking that these colleges and universities are promoting to preserve our union and a moralistically & ethically sound way of life.
