‘It’s so much worse than anyone even knows or imagines’ Chaya Raichik said in an interview with Turning Point USA

Chaya Raichik, the formerly anonymous creator behind the Twitter account Libs of TikTok, announced her groundbreaking collaboration with Turning Point USA at the Young Women’s Leadership Summit.

Raichik, who was previously a real estate agent in Brooklyn, New York, started the Twitter account in 2020 after watching videos posted to TikTok that shocked and appalled her. “I realized how deep and deliberate the targeting of our children has become and how important it is for everyday Americans to feel empowered to fight back,” Chaya Raichik explained.

This is why she founded Libs of TikTok, which searches for and shares videos parents aren’t seeing, but desperately need to. “I just knew I had to share it,” she told attendees at YWLS.

Using her anonymous platform, Libs of TikTok, Chaya Raichik shed light on the disastrous consequences of gender theory. She exposed teachers, school administrators, and childcare workers who secretly told young students that they could identify with whichever gender they preferred. Parents entrusted these people with their most valued possession — their children. These so-called educators then used their authority to warp children’s perception of reality and sever their relationships with their parents.

Raichik explained that she instinctually knew that what she had seen people post to the platform was wrong, and the comments she read after sharing the content she had found only confirmed her initial impression.

By anonymously sharing videos that had already been posted on the internet, Raichik made herself a target and enemy of the left. This is when The Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz discovered the identity of the woman behind Libs of TikTok and showed up at her house unannounced. Chaya Raichik was informed that Lorenz would be exposing her identity the following day. What she didn’t know, is that every personal detail about her life would soon be made public.

During an interview with Turning Point USA, Chaya Raichik explained that the day before Lorenz doxxed her, she could have shut her account down and potentially spared herself, keeping anonymity intact. Still, at that moment, she knew that her work was too important.

“The day before the actual doxxing, when she showed up at my house and I knew that this was going to be happening, I could have responded, like, ‘Okay you know what, I’ll just shut it down — please don’t share my name,'” she said. “I feel like that’s what they wanted.”

Instead, she firmly responded, “I’m not going to do that.” When asked why, Raichik told TPUSA, “I realized that the work is too important. It’s so much worse than anyone even knows or imagines. I can’t stop.”

During the interview, Raichik told TPUSA that the problem is more prevalent than most Americans know, and even seemingly conservative school districts have been captured by the left.

“Someone actually once challenged me to find something in a rural Texas district,” she said. “It took a while — but I found this whole thing where they [school administrators] were leading from their [school website], to go to other websites which talked about becoming transgender.”

She told TPUSA that many parents who reached out to her were entirely unaware that the values they had taught their children in the household were being directly counteracted by public school teachers, with little oversight, and no transparency.

During her speech at YWLS, Raichik said that numerous times throughout the past year she asked herself, “How did I get here?” and said that “the answer is, I got here by being brave and speaking up.” She told the audience that the work she has done is merely, “the tip of the iceberg,” and that by joing forces with Turning Point USA, she truly believes there is a path to changing the course of the nation for the better.

Turning Point USA is thrilled to have Chaya Raichik join the team of freedom fighters on thousands of college and high school campuses around the country, working in collaboration to create a better future for America.

“Turning Point USA’s commitment to the fight for freedom on campus is more important now than ever.”
