Liberals Meltdown After Getting Suspended For Doxxing Elon Musk’s Family
In an amusing turn of events, it’s finally the radical left-wing that is being suspended from Twitter for a change. However, unlike the right who has been unfairly targeted, shadow banned and censored for their political ideology, the left is being censored for doxxing Elon Musk’s location, after he specifically told them not to.
This all started when Musk banned the account “@ElonJet” that was using information to track the live location of Musk’s jet. The account with over 500,000 followers was suspended for, “doxxing real-time location.”
Shortly after, Musk announced that, “Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation.”
In the same announcement thread, Musk shared his reasoning for banning the ElonJet account, sharing a video of a masked stalker who was following a car transporting his son.
“Last night, car carrying lil X in LA was followed by crazy stalker (thinking it was me), who later blocked car from moving & climbed onto hood,” he tweeted.
After announcing the new Twitter rules on doxxing, liberal journalists from CNN, Washington Post and the New York Times decided it would be a good idea to post the exact thing Musk said would lead to a suspension.
And to the media’s surprise, they were suspended.
This led to a litany of liberal reporters melting down in what they deemed an “attack on free speech”. Taylor Lorenz of the Washington Post, known for writing hit pieces and doxxing her subjects, immediately scrubbed her entire account, taking it private.
“Musk has begun banning journalists who have criticized him from Twitter,” she wrote, “My whole timeline is glitched out and people continue to report my tweets so I’m worried I’ll be banned soon too!” she tweeted.
Lorenz came under intense criticism for her “reporting” earlier this year when she doxxed the creator of LibsofTikTok, sharing her full name and home address.
This application of the rules led liberals from Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to the commentators at CNN melting down and calling for a reevaluation of free speech.
“Take a beat and lay off the proto-fascism. Maybe try putting down your phone.” Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.
Musk shared that the suspensions are not permanent and that the commentators who broke the rules will only face a 7 day suspension, however, this was a definite shock to the left-wing who has been allowed to doxx, harass and call for violence for years unabated.
They’re facing consequences for the first time in their lives and it has been absolutely heartwarming to see.
