As conservatives, we have followed the real science. Cloth masks are merely facial decorations, social distancing was a fictional amount of space, and people who are vaxed and boosted still get and die of COVID. We knew this all along and lived our lives accordingly. However, we were still labeled “Grandma Killers” by liberals.
This statement couldn’t be further from the truth. It was leftist leaders who put COVID-positive elders (the most at-risk population) in nursing homes which killed thousands. Where is the outrage? There is none because it doesn’t fit the controlling narrative.
Now, we see the masks coming off and the restrictions being lifted. This is not a result of science or data. It is a result of liberal politicians reading polling data that shows draconian measures don’t work and are not popular. The only way these people stay in power is if they are popular. Hence, the change in sentiment.
Unfortunately, these changes do nothing about the dead grandmas, damaged children, and those who committed suicide.
