If Liberalism is so great, why are Liberal cities littered with trash, covered in graffiti, riddled with crime and plagued by homelessness? This question is rhetorical. The answer is obvious. Liberal policies destroy everything. The policies perpetuate the problem.
As of late, Liberal city leaders have incorrectly blamed their problems on the Coronavirus. The honest answer is that COVID-era policies extend lockdowns, defund the police and make our communities less safe.
COVID did not create the problems. The policies surrounding it amplified them. As a result, people are fleeing to Conservative states or suburban areas. This creates a bigger problem. Tax revenue is reduced and patronage of local establishments diminishes, resulting in reduced revenue for both the cities and businesses.
The bottom line is that people go where they are treated well, where they feel safe. The Liberals may be able to hide behind COVID for now, but the population shifts and increase in crime will tell the real story.
