What timeline are we on!? Who would have ever thought that Nicki Minaj would be the A-list celebrity to call out the establishment? This past weekend, Nicki was asked why she wasn’t in attendance at a star-studded ball, to which she responded, “They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. If I get vaccinated, it won’t be for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime, my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grip your head & face. Not that loose one.”
Fair statement, in my opinion. Nicki goes on to retweet some fans who shared stories of adverse side effects and she references her own stories of vaccine side effects as well.
However, this would be only the beginning of the drama as mainstream media did not like that she wasn’t promoting the vaccine.
What really drove people crazy was that Nicki Minaj retweeted Tucker Carlson’s monologue that he did on her the previous night with a bullseye emoji confirming what he said is accurate:
People attacked Nicki, saying she was siding with a “white nationalist.” To which Nicki sarcastically responded with, “Right. I can’t speak to, agree with, even look at someone from a particular political party. Ppl aren’t human anymore.” She then tweeted:
And this is the key takeaway, even Nicki recognizes how polarized this country has become. It’s gotten to a point where you can’t even share a video clip of someone without being associated with everything that person stands for. What happened to not blaming the messenger but rather the message?
Now Nicki is being treated horribly by the mainstream media and they’re trying hard to tarnish her name. However, she’s doubling down on her videos and taking a stand for those who are unvaccinated and stand for freedom. She claims she wants to be a voice for the voiceless and make a point that it’s okay to ask questions about the drugs people put in their bodies. You can watch her video here, as she goes as far as mentioning how the censorship she’s experiencing reminds her of China and she doesn’t like that. She brings up censorship because Twitter but her in “Twitter jail” which blocks a user from tweeting. It couldn’t be more clear that the establishment views Nicki as a threat now and will do anything to prevent people from listening to her.
Where they messed up is that Nicki has one of the strongest fan bases on social media and this could potentially lead to even more people waking up and seeing the truth for what it really is. More and more people are witnessing the treatment someone will get for going against the grain…for simply asking questions. I’m not sure what’s going to happen next, but I’ll be here to talk about it.
