Leftist Students Vandalize UW Madison Over Matt Walsh Speech

Totalitarianism on American college campuses is getting worse by the semester. In the latest example, radical leftists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison demolished campus statues and landmarks in protest of Matt Walsh’s speech.
There’s something ironic about the radical left using fear tactics and the destruction of property to attempt to silence their political opponents — but it isn’t surprising. Throughout history, the left has rejected the basic western and American concept of allowing, even facilitating free speech. Now, college students consider your opinions to be actual “violence” by simply you acknowledging the difference between biological women and men who claim to identify as women.
The students vandalized the beautiful buildings and a statue on campus with the words “Trans women are women” and “F*ck Matt Walsh and YAF” (the student group hosting Walsh).
Instead of respecting the freedom of their political opponents to express their ideas, students on campuses across America are opting for the archaic, oppressive, and destructive tactics that widen the political divide.
To make matters worse, the students are encouraged by the campus leadership and American politicians to dive deeper into this chaotic, anti-American behavior. The university replied to the incident by apologizing to the students for the “harm caused” by Matt Walsh’s physical presence on campus, and released an official statement, groveling for forgiveness.
“We are aware that a speaker is coming to campus on Monday whose viewpoints we believe are harmful toward our trans community. We feel the impact this is having on our campus, and we wanted to reach out.”

Matt Walsh simply replied by saying the university’s response was the “worst cowardice I’ve ever seen by a university.”
Our nation is on a bad path, and this dangerous trend toward totalitarianism seems to be just the beginning.
