Left Wing Protestors Attend TPUSA Live Free Event, Attack Innocent Bystander
Turning Point USA’s Live Free Tour is underway, and has seen no shortage of protests across the country.
Last night, left-wing activists gathered to protest at the University of Illinois where TPUSA CEO Charlie Kirk, along with conservative commentator Candace Owens, held an event designed to empower conservative college students to defend their values.
The protestors, who claimed that their goal was to “counter hate on campus” were seen holding signs that said “eradicate fascism” and LGBT flags. They also chanted various vulgar slogans including “F*** Charlie! F**** Candace,” and “No Kirk! No KKK! No Fascist USA!”
But the protestors didn’t just make the environment hostile for Kirk, Owens, or the students in attendance. Protestors also confronted a Ukrainian immigrant who was walking by the event on his way home. Curious about the commotion, the man approached the protestors but was immediately greeted with hostility. Masked protestors began harassing the man without even knowing who he was.
After the man began filming the protestors for being hostile and blocking the street, the protestors began to yell at the man, push him, and assault him with a megaphone and an umbrella.
Unfortunately, it’s not a surprise that even an innocent bystander would be assaulted by these thugs who attend TPUSA events simply to create conflict. When a conservative commentator attends a college campus, the left-wing protestors who stand outside and shout obscenities are not truly there to protest. Their intentions are to stoke chaos, harass, and incite violence. Despite this, they call the conservative attendees fascists. The ignorance to their hypocrisy is almost laughable.
