LA Prosecutor Suspended for ‘Deadnaming,’ ‘Misgendering’ Convicted Child Molester
Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon suspended the attorney who prosecuted a 26-year old “transgender woman” convicted for molesting a child and now facing murder charges, because he “misgendered” and “deadnamed” the criminal.
On January 1, 2024, James Tubbs was two weeks away from his 18th birthday when he molested a 10 year old girl in the bathroom of a Denny’s restaurant. Following his arrest in 2019 for the crime committed years prior, Tubbs conveniently began identifying as a female named “Hannah” and was tried as a juvenile. According to the New York Post,“LA County District Attorney George Gascón declined to file a motion to move the case out of juvenile court, where it was filed because of Tubbs’ age at the time of offense.”
“Tubbs was arrested and charged for the crime in 2019 after she [sic] was arrested on battery charges in Idaho and her DNA matched a national database. She [sic] pleaded guilty to the California sexual assault charge in November.”

This man, 26 at the time of his eventual arrest, who molested a young girl, was sentenced to serve two years in a female juvenile prison — surrounded by potential victims. District Attorney Gascon, as well as every media outlet reporting on the topic, have allowed Tubbs to game the system to his benefit.
The lead prosecutor assigned to Tubbs’ case, Shea Sanna, saw this injustice, and was quickly suspended after openly criticizing the decision to allow Tubbs into a female juvenile jail.
“I have recordings of him making up the name, gaming the system, joking about it and the date that it was made up. And I had reports where he’s referring to himself as a ‘grown a** man.’”
“It wasn’t like I was going around being transphobic or malicious — I brought it to their attention that they have a convicted child rapist trying to get himself into a juvenile facility as a woman, and he rapes little girls,” he said. “Does anybody see a problem with that?”

Instead of taking his very legitimate concerns into account, District Attorney Gascon’s office suspended Sanna, despite a total lack of prosecutorial misconduct.
“‘I’ve also heard that my attacker goes by she/them pronouns now,’ she told Fox News. ‘I see it also unfair to try him as a woman as well, seeing how he clearly didn’t act like one on January 1st of 2014.'”

Last year, jailhouse phone call recordings between Tubbs and his father were obtained by Fox News Digital, revealing his plan to “come out” as trans following the District Attorney’s decision to try him as a juvenile. He joked about the light punishment which amounts to a slap on the wrist, and boasted that he will not have to register as a sex offender. Fox reports that in one phone call, Tubbs and his father “laughed about choosing the new name, ‘Hannah.'”
These recordings provide even more clarity to an already clear situation: James Tubbs knows that he is a man, and knows how to use liberal gender ideology to his benefit. Despite this, numerous “conservative” news outlets still respect the “preferred pronouns” of a convicted child rapist.
The victim, who is now an adult, told Fox News that it is “unfair to try him as a woman as well, seeing how he clearly didn’t act like one on January 1st of 2014.”
