Kylie Jenner Wears “Faux” Lion Head Dress to Paris Fashion Week

Beauty mogul Kylie Jenner made a statement at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2023 fashion show by wearing a black dress with a “faux” lion head gown. We aren’t exactly sure what the statement is, though.

Kylie showed off this masterpiece on Instagram with the caption, “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. thank you @danielroseberry and @schiaparelli for such a special morning. wow i loved wearing this faux art creation constructed by hand using manmade materials. beautiful beautiful 🦁🦁🫶🏻”

But the public reaction to Jenner’s outfit has been mixed. One of the biggest and loudest animal activist groups, PETA, applauded Jenner by saying that “Kylie’s look celebrates lions’ beauty and may be a statement against trophy hunting, in which lion families are torn apart to satisfy human egotism.”

Other activists like Carrie Johnson responded by saying the exact opposite. Johnson posted on her Twitter “Grim! Real or fake this just promotes trophy hunting. Yuck.”

After the controversy started, Schiaparelli’s team made a statement about the faux-taxidermy.

“They are meant to serve as a reminder there is no such thing as heaven without hell; there is no joy without sorrow; there is no ecstasy of creation without the torture of doubt,” Daniel Roseberry, Schiaparelli’s creative director stated.

For some reason, I don’t think PETA would have given me nor any other conservative activists the same praise they gave Kylie Jenner for wearing a lion head gown.

“I’m convinced that the work by Turning Point USA and Charlie Kirk will win back the future of America.”
